Yuguang Fang, IEEE Fellow

City University of Hong Kong

Yuguang “Michael” Fang received an MS degree in Mathematics from Qufu Normal University, Shandong, China in 1987, a PhD degree in Systems, Control and Industrial Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1994, and a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Systems from Boston University in 1997. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1998 as an assistant professor and then moved to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Florida in 2000 as an assistant professor, then was promoted to associate professor in 2003, full professor in 2005, and distinguished professor in 2019, respectively. Since August 2022, he has been the Chair Professor of Internet of Things with the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong.

He received many awards including the US NSF CAREER Award (2001), US ONR Young Investigator Award (2002), 2018 IEEE Vehicular Technology Outstanding Service Award, 2019 IEEE Communications Society AHSN Technical Achievement Award, 2015 IEEE Communications Society CISTC Technical Recognition Award, 2014 IEEE Communications Society WTC Recognition Award, the Best Paper Award from IEEE ICNP (2006), 2010-2011 UF Doctoral Dissertation Advisor/Mentoring Award, and 2009 UF College of Engineering Faculty Mentoring Award. He held multiple professorships including the Changjiang Scholar Chair Professorship (2008-2011), Tsinghua University Guest Chair Professorship (2009-2012), NSC Visiting Researcher of National Taiwan University (2007-2008), Invitational Fellowship of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (2009), University of Florida Foundation Preeminence Term Professorship (2019-2022), University of Florida Research Foundation Professorship (2017-2020, 2006-2009), and University of Florida Term Professorship (2017-2021). He served as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (2013-2017) and IEEE Wireless Communications (2009-2012) and serves/served on several editorial boards of journals including Proceedings of the IEEE (2018-present), ACM Computing Surveys (2017-present), ACM Transactions on Cyber-Physical Systems (2020-present), IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (2003-2008, 2011-2016, 2019-present), IEEE Transactions on Communications (2000-2011), and IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (2002-2009). He served as the Technical Program Co-Chair of IEEE INFOCOM’2014 and the Technical Program Vice-Chair of IEEE INFOCOM'2005. He has actively engaged with his professional community, serving as a Member-at-Large of the Board of Governors of IEEE Communications Society (2022-2024) and the Director of Magazines of IEEE Communications Society (2018-2019). He is a fellow of IEEE and AAAS. 





Fei Yu, IEEE Fellow

Shenzhen University

F. Richard Yu received the PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2003. His research interests include connected/autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and wireless systems. He has been named in the Clarivate Analytics list of "Highly Cited Researchers" since 2019 with 40,000+ citatations (Google Scholar) and H-index 101+, and received several Best Paper Awards from some first-tier conferences. He was a Board Member the IEEE VTS and is the Editor-in-Chief for IEEE VTS Mobile World newsletter. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), and IET. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE in both VTS and ComSoc.

Chengxiang Wang, IEEE Fellow

Southeast University

Cheng-Xiang Wang received the B.Sc. and M.Eng. degrees in communication and information systems from Shandong University, China, in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in wireless communications from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2004.

He was a Research Assistant with the Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg, Germany, from 2000 to 2001, a Visiting Researcher with Siemens AG Mobile Phones, Munich, Germany, in 2004, and a Research Fellow with the University of Agder, Grimstad, Norway, from 2001 to 2005. He has been with Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K., since 2005, where he was promoted to a Professor in 2011. In 2018, he joined Southeast University, Nanjing, China, as a Professor. He is also a part-time Professor with Purple Mountain Laboratories, Nanjing. He has authored 4 books, 3 book chapters, and more than 500 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings, including 27 highly cited papers. He has also delivered 24 invited keynote speeches/talks and 16 tutorials in international conferences. His current research interests include wireless channel measurements and modeling, 6G wireless communication networks, and electromagnetic information theory.Dr. Wang is a Member of the Academia Europaea (The Academy of Europe), a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE), IEEE, IET and China Institute of Communications (CIC), an IEEE Communications Society Distinguished Lecturer in 2019 and 2020, a Highly-Cited Researcher recognized by Clarivate Analytics in 2017-2020, and one of the most cited Chinese Researchers recognized by Elsevier in 2021. He is currently an Executive Editorial Committee Member of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS. He has served as an Editor for over ten international journals, including the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS, from 2007 to 2009, the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON VEHICULAR TECHNOLOGY, from 2011 to 2017, and the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS, from 2015 to 2017. He was a Guest Editor of the IEEE JOURNAL ON SELECTED AREAS IN COMMUNICATIONS, Special Issue on Vehicular Communications and Networks (Lead Guest Editor), Special Issue on Spectrum and Energy Efficient Design of Wireless Communication Networks, and Special Issue on Airborne Communication Networks. He was also a Guest Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON BIG DATA, Special Issue on Wireless Big Data, and is a Guest Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON COGNITIVE COMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORKING, Special Issue on Intelligent Resource Management for 5G and Beyond. He has served as a TPC Member, a TPC Chair, and a General Chair for more than 30 international conferences. He received 15 Best Paper Awards from IEEE GLOBECOM 2010, IEEE ICCT 2011, ITST 2012, IEEE VTC 2013 Spring, IWCMC 2015, IWCMC 2016, IEEE/CIC ICCC 2016, WPMC 2016, WOCC 2019, IWCMC 2020, WCSP 2020, CSPS2021, WCSP 2021, and IEEE/CIC ICCC 2022. His Google Scholar citations are in excess of 21000 with an H-index of 71. 




Zhaocheng Wang, IEEE Fellow

Tsinghua University

Zhaocheng Wang is internationally well-known for a large number of high-quality original granted patents and publications in high-impact journals. His research interests include millimeter wave/terahertz wireless communications for 6G, visible light communication for intelligent transportation and AI-enabled wireless communication. He held 61 US/EU granted patents (23 of them as the first inventor). Several granted US/EU patents (US7221645B2, US7511663B2, EP1659813B1, US6917580B2 and etc.) have been accepted by a plurality of international standards like IEEE802.11n, DVB-T2, ECMA387 and etc. Besides that, he published more than 190 international journal papers (SCI indexed), many of them are in Journal of Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE Communications Magazine and Optics Express. He co-authored four books, two of them are selected by IEEE Series on Digital & Mobile Communication and published by Wiley-IEEE Press. His Google Scholar Citation is over 17000 times and his Web of Science Citation is over 9000 times.

Kun Yang, Member of Academia Europaea, IEEE Fellow

University of Essex 

Kun Yang received his PhD from the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering of University College London (UCL), UK. He is currently a Chair Professor in the School of Computer Science & Electronic Engineering, University of Essex, UK, leading the Network Convergence Laboratory (NCL). He is also an affiliated professor of UESTC. His main research interests include wireless networks and communications, future Internet and edge computing. In particular he is interested in energy aspects of future communication systems such as 6G, promoting energy self-sustainability via both energy efficiency (green communications and networking) and energy harvesting (wireless charging). He has managed research projects funded by UK EPSRC, EU FP7/H2020, and industries. He has published 400+ papers and filed 20 patents. He serves on the editorial boards of a number of IEEE journals (e.g., IEEE ComMag, TNSE, WCL). He is a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IET Smart Cities Journal. He has been a Judge of GSMA GLOMO Award at World Mobile Congress – Barcelona since 2019. He was a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE ComSoc (2020-2021). He is a Member of Academia Europaea (MAE), a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of IET and a Distinguished Member of ACM.




Daqing Zhang, Member of Academia Europaea, IEEE Fellow

Peking University

Daqing Zhang is a Chair Professor with Peking University, China and IP Paris, France. His research interests include ubiquitous computing, mobile computing, big data analytics and AIoT. He has published more than 400 technical papers in leading conferences and journals, with a citation of over 27200 and H-index of 84, where his work on OWL-based context model and Fresnel Zone-based wireless sensing theory are widely accepted by pervasive computing, mobile computing and service computing communities. He was the winner of the Ten Years CoMoRea Impact Paper Award at IEEE PerCom 2013 and Ten Years Most Influential Paper Award at IEEE UIC 2019, the Best Paper Award Runner-up at ACM MobiCom 2022, the Distinguished Paper Award of IMWUT (UbiComp 2021), etc.. He served as the general or program chair for more than a dozen of international conferences, and in the advisory board of Proceeding of ACM IMWUT. Daqing Zhang is a Fellow of IEEE and Member of Academy of Europe.
