Prof. Cheng DengHohai University, ChinaDeng Cheng, male, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He was born in November 1977 in Hua County, Henan Province. He holds a postgraduate degree with a Doctorate in Engineering, holds the title of second-rank professor, and serves as a doctoral supervisor. He is a recipient of a national-level talent program and enjoys the State Council's government special allowance. Currently, he is a standing committee member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Hohai University. He began his career in July 2001 and previously served as Vice Dean of the School of Electronic Engineering at Xidian University, as well as Director of the Development Planning Department and Director of the First-Class Construction Office. In August 2025, he was appointed Vice President of Hohai University. His main research areas include multimodal information processing and artificial intelligence. He has led over 40 projects, including national key research and development programs and key projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has received one National Natural Science Award (Second Class, ranked 3rd) and two Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Awards (First Class, ranked 1st). |
Prof. Zhenbing ZhaoNorth China Electric Power University, ChinaZhao Zhenbing, born in August 1979, is a native of Suqian, Jiangsu Province. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree and serves as a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is the Deputy Director of the Institute of Intelligent Visual Computing and the Deputy Director of the Power Vision Research Center at the College of Artificial Intelligence. He holds several positions, including Council Member of the IEEE PES Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee, Member of the CES Artificial Intelligence and Electrical Applications Committee, Chair of the CCF YOCSEF Baoding Branch, Member of the Computer Vision Committee, Member of the CSIG Visual Big Data Committee, Member of the Imaging Detection and Perception Committee, Member of the Transportation Video Committee, and Academic Member of the CSEE Power Communication Committee. He also serves as an Editorial Board Member for IEEE TIM. Additionally, he is a candidate for the Hebei Province "Three-Three-Three Talent Project" and an expert reviewer for the recognition and evaluation of high-tech enterprises in Hebei Province. To date, he has received one first prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Hebei Province (Project No. 2019JB1009, third contributor, first unit). As the first author, he has published two monographs and over 50 papers indexed by SCI or EI in authoritative domestic and international journals or conferences, such as IEEE TDEI and TIM. He has led 10 vertical research projects, including two from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one from the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, two from the Hebei Natural Science Foundation, one from the Open Fund of the National Key Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, and four from the Fundamental Research Funds for Central Universities. As the second principal investigator, he has participated in one sub-project of the National 863 Program, one sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Program, and three projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has also led eight collaborative projects with power enterprises. As the first contributor, he has obtained authorization for 16 national patents. |
